About the place

The restaurant is on Strada Baba Lupa, at the river end of town, next to the Debarcader gazebo. The menu is Romanian, with traditional recipes cooked in a newer way, and there is also a daily menu, according to its website. In summer you eat outside with a view of the river; to the south you can see the Calafat–Vidin bridge.

On Google it has 4.5 from about 322 reviews, many from 2026. Guests praise the setting and the view; some reviews say service can be slow when it is busy. The restaurant's website says it won an award at the Șoimii Gastronomiei 2025 competition.
